Eric Gibbs

Senior Vice President, Global Strategy

Eric leads the Alliance’s programs and initiatives to unlock energy markets and cultivate a global community of clean energy buyers and their supply chain partners to drive clean energy development and deployment around the world. Eric was most recently the Chief Climate Program Officer at CLASP, where he led the growth and development of an expansive global portfolio of climate change mitigation policy programs in countries throughout Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin and North America. Eric previously managed the development of rural energy access projects and cooperative electric distribution utilities in villages around the world with the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association’s (NRECA) International Ltd. Eric also previously provided consulting and advisory services to support the development and financing of large scale energy infrastructure projects in Latin America and Africa. Eric has an M.A. in International Relations from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a B.A. from the University of New Hampshire.
