CEBA Appoints Susan Buehler as Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications
The Clean Energy Buyers Association (CEBA) has appointed Susan Buehler as its new senior vice president of corporate communications. In her role at CEBA, she will be responsible for internal and external communications, media relations, marketing, branding, the website, stakeholder communications, and events. She will develop and implement strategic messaging that supports policy and advocacy efforts for the organization.
Susan brings more than 25 years of experience in media, marketing, strategic communications, and corporate communications initiatives in complex, regulated industries, including the energy sector.
“Susan’s deep understanding of the energy industry and its impacts on businesses and consumers alike will be integral in driving CEBA’s communication and advocacy efforts,” said CEBA CEO Rich Powell. “Policymaking discussions on energy dominance and keeping costs down have made our mission more important than ever, and we are thrilled to welcome Susan to the team as we work to ensure a low-cost, reliable, carbon-emissions-free energy future.”

“CEBA is playing a crucial role in bringing institutional energy customers and producers together to support markets and policies that drive economic growth,” said Susan Buehler. “I am looking forward to joining a distinguished team and building a communications operation that will position CEBA as a leader in advancing energy policy and advocacy initiatives.”
Most recently, Susan was the chief communications officer at PJM Interconnection, where she was responsible for managing internal, external, digital, web, video initiatives, and events to create awareness and messaging around energy policy.
Earlier, Susan was executive vice president for Bellevue Communications, where she managed the day-to-day operations of the firm and some of its largest clients, including Campbell’s Soup Co., McDonald’s, Citizens Bank, Temple Health, and Chemring Group, in addition to leading the firm’s media training and crisis communications initiatives.
Susan is a former Emmy-winning television journalist and will be inducted in May into the Philadelphia Public Relations Association Hall of Fame for her impressive accomplishments within the field.
