CEBA Calls for Greater Transparency on Proposed Southeast Energy Exchange Market
CEBA supports a more competitive wholesale market structure in the U.S. Southeast in order to maximize customers’ access to low-cost and reliable clean energy. CEBA, along with the Advanced Energy Economy and the Advanced Energy Buyers Group, submitted comments on August 23 to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) urging the Commission to assess the Southeast Energy Exchange Market (SEEM) proposal (Docket ER21-1111). These comments reiterate CEBA’s previous filings on March 15 and April 14 that call for greater transparency of the SEEM proposal in order to evaluate the proposed market’s benefit to customers.
