Kerri Metz
Manager, GHG Accounting & Standards
Kerri serves as a Manager on the GHG Accounting & Standards team where she supports the Next Generation Carbon-Free Electricity (NextGen) Initiative. In this role, Kerri strives to expand the suite of carbon-free procurement options available for energy customers and helps to position customers to navigate these options to maximize their decarbonization impact.
Prior to her work at CEBA, Kerri was the primary reporter and data analyst for Georgia Power’s Commercial Program offerings, where she led monthly and ad hoc reporting, KPI data analysis, and played a key role in the design of Georgia Power’s 2023-2025 Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) cycle, ranging from program design, measure adoption/retirement, and regulatory filing. Before Georgia Power, Kerri served as a Research Associate for Georgia Tech’s Energy Policy and Innovation Center, where she managed and contributed to numerous annual energy and policy-centered projects.
Kerri holds a Master of Environmental Management (MEM) from Duke University and a BS in Program in the Environment (PitE), with a concentration on Policy, Planning, and Sustainability, from the University of Michigan with high academic honors.
