Tomas Green is a strategic, mission-driven leader with experience advancing decarbonization initiatives. At the U.S. Department of Energy, he served as Chief of Staff for a 150-person office, managing $900 million in annual RD&D and over $8 billion in infrastructure investments. He led cross-functional teams to scale clean technologies — including clean hydrogen, sustainable fuels, and electric vehicle deployment — developed multi-year strategies, launched new funding initiatives, and advised senior policymakers on deploying next-generation solutions. With an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Kansas and a master’s in Technology and Policy from MIT, he is passionate about communicating technical topics effectively to elected officials. With lessons learned from hydrogen, SAF, and EV deployment, Tomas is excited to join CEBA and dive into the conversation on Capitol Hill about how we deploy clean energy faster.
