CEBA filed comments at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) on Tuesday, October 12th in response to FERC’s July 15th Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANOPR) on revisions to improve transmission planning, cost allocation, and generator interconnection processes.

CEBA’s ongoing engagement at FERC showcases the importance of the energy customer voice in federal proceedings. Transmission infrastructure is an essential component of unlocking cost-efficient emissions reductions solutions and is critical to enabling well-designed organized wholesale markets to function. In this latest filing, CEBA calls attention to the significant reforms needed to transmission in order to ensure that customers have just and reasonable access to a reliable, affordable, and decarbonized electric grid.
