CEBA Deal Tracker Methodology
The CEBA Deal Tracker represents publicly announced procurement of clean energy by commercial and industrial customers through power purchase agreements (PPAs), green tariffs, bilateral deals with utilities, energy storage agreements, energy customer tax equity investments, and direct project ownership in the U.S. since 2014.
The CEBA Deal Tracker only includes deals that are:
- Publicly announced and/or accessible through the public domain and regulatory filings, or approved by a state public utility commission (PUC) if a utility deal;
- With a corporate offtaker in the commercial and industrial sector;
- For an off-site, utility-scale project, or an on-site project at least 20 MWac in capacity;
- For new clean energy projects or a qualified repowering project (clean energy tracked includes solar, wind, battery storage, nuclear, geothermal, biomass, and hydropower); and
- Located in the United States.
