Heather Lynch

Senior Manager, Membership

Heather Lynch is the Senior Manager of Membership at CEBA, where she supports members throughout their membership journey, ensuring they achieve their clean energy goals. Prior to this role, Heather was the Global Membership Development Manager at the Sustainable Apparel Coalition where she built and leveraged relationships in the apparel and footwear industry to grow the coalition’s membership base. Prior to the SAC, Heather spent fifteen years in the higher education sustainability sector. Five of those years were spent as the Membership Development Manager for AASHE (the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability), which developed the first higher ed sector-wide sustainability assessment, STARS. Ten of those years were spent leading the sustainability initiatives at Saint Michael’s College as the first Director of Sustainability. She maintained the college’s greenhouse gas inventory, completed its first sustainability assessment, developed the organic garden program and taught in the Environmental Studies department.

Heather holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Environmental Conservation from the University of New Hampshire and a Master’s of Science degree in Sustainable Food Systems from Green Mountain College.

In her free time, Heather enjoys being outside as much as possible whether it is hiking in the mountains (in all seasons), cross-country skiing, snow-shoeing or gardening. She is a certified Extension Master Gardener and grows her own sustainable crop of garlic. Heather hopes to hike the John Muir Trail one day. She lives in Vermont with her husband and two cats.
