James Hauser

James Hauser is the Senior Associate for Market & Policy Innovation in the South and Southeast. Prior to joining CEBA, James was an analyst for Mitsui, specializing in U.S. elections and federal energy policy, and previously served as a legislative assistant at the U.S. House of Representatives from 2013 to 2017. James’ academic research includes Duke Energy’s Carbon Plan and using federal law to expand solar outside of utility procurement. James holds degrees from UNC Greensboro, Georgetown University, and the Georgia Institute of Technology. An avid speaker of Spanish and Portuguese, James enjoys following women’s soccer throughout the Americas.
