Supharat Thorne

Supharat is a Senior Manager of Clean Energy Transaction Innovation in CEBA’s Transaction Acceleration Group (TAG), with 13 years of experience in the energy and electricity industries. In her role with CEBA, she leads a program area focused on understanding and solving market and policy barriers that restrict industrial customers, including sub-investment grade companies, from transacting in the clean energy market. She works with stakeholders to develop targeted solutions and deploys them to achieve a carbon-free power system.

Before joining CEBA, Supharat was a Deputy Director of Clean Energy Projects at a California-based clean energy consulting firm. There, she led key advisory projects for an intergovernmental organization and multinational companies, supported public-private partnership initiatives, and drove business development. Supharat has also worked for energy and power developer companies in Asia. She led the incubation of clean energy technology, developed renewable power projects, and provided creative solutions to improve environmental impacts. She was an executive advisor to a subsidiary of a Fortune Global 500 energy company, where she founded a software company to facilitate the transition to clean energy products for multinational corporates operating in emerging markets.

Supharat holds an MPhil in Engineering for Sustainable Development from the University of Cambridge and a BEng in Automotive Design and Manufacturing Engineering from Chulalongkorn University (Thailand) with Gold Medal 1st Class Honors. Supharat also holds a Scrum Product Owner Certification from the Scrum Alliance. In her spare time, Supharat enjoys listening to music, playing golf and practicing Yoga. Supharat is based in Atlanta.
